Good morning, 

If your child is a football fan and likely to be staying up until 11pm on Sunday to watch the final, we recognise that they will be very tired and possibly grumpy, therefore we will be keeping our registers open until 10.30am on Monday morning. 

We would rather have children in school ready to learn rather than absent all day or grumpy!

School will start at normal time but children arriving up to 10.30 won't be marked as late. 

It has been 55 years since the English male team reached a major football final, this is history in the making. It is also a great learning opportunity to talk about pride, resilience and possible disappointment. 

Monday will also be a non-uniform day in celebration of a win or reaching a major final.
